While there is a human in this photo interacting with a wolf the human has been trained on how to interact with this animal and there is still a risk of misunderstanding between wolf and human. Wolves and wolf dogs are wild animals, not pets. |

I agree: wolves are wild animals and shouldn't be treated as domesticated dogs. They have a language of their own and could easily take a human action for a threat. I really dislike people that think they can approach any animal and immediately have a good connection with them. When I see deer in my meadow, sure, I approach them slowly, but when I reach a certain distance, I stop and sit to only observe.
